Mara Petersen

Grammar Latin Teacher

ECCS welcomes Mrs. Mara Petersen to the Grammar Latin position. Mrs. Petersen teaches 3^rd, 4^th, and 5^th grade Latin. She received her BS in Education from Mississippi State and three of her five children attend ECCS—Rankin, Grant, Kate, and Mary Addison. Her youngest, Luke, attends the ECCS Mother’s Day Out and Preschool.

Mrs. Petersen enjoys floral arranging, EBAY and thrift store shopping, and spending time with her husband and children.

She loves Deuteronomy 31:6 “Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid or terrified because of them, for the Lord your God goes with you; he will never leave you nor forsake you.”
